Catalog & MARC editor
MARC/WEMI-based catalog, authority files, bulk import/export and AI-assisted cataloging.
This project was built for T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı
BiblioOne unifies cataloging, OPAC, circulation and digital reading across the libraries of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on one platform. The “One Record. One Truth.” principle eliminates duplicate records and catalog inconsistency.
Libraries under the ministry ran catalog systems built in different years that did not talk to each other. The same work appeared under multiple records, readers could not reach the material they searched for, and central statistics took weeks. The experience gap between digital and physical collections kept widening.
BiblioOne was positioned on a single MARC/WEMI-based bibliographic backbone. Libraries migrated with shared authority files and bulk import/export tooling. OPAC, circulation, acquisitions and the digital reader were configured to run on the same API, with enterprise sign-in wired to LDAP/AD and an LDAP-based role model.
